Does anyone understand the scoring system? I don't

We are told the phone in voting is 50% of the vote - the one with the highest votes gets 4 points (tonight) down to 1 point for the lowest votes.

If the judges vote puts the lowest points down at 42 and the next lowest is at 53 say (can't remember the exact scores, but something like that), that's more than 4 points adrift.

How then can the judges lowest scored couple NOT be eliminated - they can only get 4 points from the public which would not be enough to beat the next highest (even if they only got 1 point).

Sounds rigged to me.

I have only seen this for about 30 seconds, as I was frantically pressing the "Channel up" button on the remote. I saw Julian Clary dancing with a girl. I really didn't understand that "scoring" system...

Score with Ruski Lilly-ana's legs would be sumfing ... Sad she has departed !! hi-lite of the show.
Old Halfpenny may have been at the back of the name queue but was at the front elsewhere
