You get all sorts of weirdos in chatrooms. Usually pervy blokes who are doing strange things with webcams 
Believe me mlb3c, you can tell who they are. They usually strike up a conversation with you along the lines of 'Hi I'm Jim, wanna chat on webcam? I'm in my big bedroom wanna see?' You say 'No thanks' and they start cussing you!!!!
I only ever went into one once when I was at my mates and we'd sank a bottle of vodka between us and did it for a laugh!

They can be fun when drunk... although, I haven't used one in 6 years now. I'd probably hate it now: from what I am told they generally now have 2 guys saying how much they love George Bush, and then 900 people calling them idiots. No-one listens to each other and they don't really seem to have fun.
I once came a cropper though: many years ago, a female friend convinced me to help her play a prank on her boyfriend. I thought it was a bad idea, but we were drunk so I went along with it. The idea was, we created a new profile for me called "hot redhead chick" or something, and then I would talk about heaving bosoms and whatnot whilst she was talking to him on the phone. Aaaaanyway, luckily it ended before he said anything that would make me go "yuck".
I didn't think to delete the profile and a year later had some guy being very friendly with me. I thought he was just a friendly chap. But then he started saying various things. I explained "sorry dude, I'm not gay" but he just seemed even more interested after that. Wasn't until he said something about redheads that I twigged, checked my profile... oooops. No wonder he found me so easy to talk to, I'M A MAN FOR CHRISSAKES!!!

mine are less frequent after My court appearance an Restraining Order ..
hmmm just cos I traced her an broke in an climbed nakkid into her bed ... some parents can be over protective nowadays ,...lol

There are a lot of wierdos in chats rooms...mostly blokes but you also get the odd woman with 'issues'...or she want you to run her husband over!..
There are also a lot of lonely people in them...harmless enough, just want some company...no harm in that, occasionally you may come across a chatroom where people have a common interest (and no..i dont mean the swinging ones!!)
If you can avoid the pervos and the cranks and dont take the rooms too seriously they can be ok...
Alot of people have learned a great deal from them like how to type with one hand fore instance...
