depends where you get it from, how big you need it, what type, how long you need it for, where you live
local hire companys will almost always be cheaper than the likes of HSS and speedy hire

What height?
What terrain?
Transport distance?
Do you have an IPAF licence.?
So many questions you will be asked by the hire company.

Your response was vaguer !! But anyway, my aplologies, i'll expand on the question.... i need to get over a conservatory to paint my fashias or is that fascias? (not fuscias tho!). And i'm in the Bristol area.

i hav a 3meter run of fashia to paint...if i got the pros in, theyd charge more that thoose prices? shorely?
I bought a tower for £150 to do my fascias then sold it for £120 when finished.
For just 3m of fascia it will be much cheaper and easier to remove a couple of the conservatory roof panels and use a ladder.
