Chimney Brush Stuck

please dont try and burn it out, you will get melted plastic in the flue, and or dropping onto the glass below.

No luck with the hook method, any other idea? The brush is stuck at the top of here, second picture you can see it sticking out slightly

Thinking of lighting a fire to burn through it, abit of plastic and brush won’t cause harm will it?
Not surprised, I thought it was a normal chimney where you push through into open space
 
If you can get up to it you'll be able to pull it out with your hand or you have anything long enough with a good hook on to reach up through the vertical tube and grab it
 
Call the fire brigade, tell them you think your cats stuck up there as well.

Ignore the state of the gutters, we’ve just bought the house and had 25+ pigeons living under the solar panels, have just had galvanised steel put around the edges so waiting for the pigeons to leave and then I’ll clear them!
 
This did the trick. Ladder up, one foot on the conservatory frame and reached up to grab it out on the right hand vertical. Thanks for your help and suggestions!
