Just a couple of tips if I may before you buy the new stove.....
If possible, get one which draws its combustion air from outside - minimises draught inside the room. Even a 5kW stove where external ventilation usually isn't needed can cause a gale in the room.
Use the top outlet flue on the stove if possible - makes for much easier sweeping. If the stove has a back outlet its best to have a 'flue door' positioned outside which allows sweeping both up and down. Mind you, it would seem that sweeping from the top is possible in your situation, although not always convenient.
Some stoves have a double baffle.....one big one above the fire that they all have, and sometimes a 'cup' type that sits just below the flue top outlet (Morso). This type needs to be cleaned out frequently, even if you are not sweeping the lum. Soot tends to fall and collect there, causing either a blockage or a place where soot can continue to burn.
