Yes, I know, it's huge, but that's why I like it. It's a phablet, if you like. I can use it as a mobile, but it's big enough to browse too.

What do you guys think?

couple of guys at work have the note,i thought they were very pleased to see me when it was in there pockets,good bit of kit but imho to big for me,so ill keep my galaxy 3.

I've never been a follower of the latest gadgets, as witnessed by my current mobile, a 6 year old Sony Ericsson K800i.

But, as my eyesight is not as good as it once was, I am liking the idea of a larger screen for texting etc...

best thing to do m8,is to go into your local mobile store and have a feel(oooerrr)of 1 and see if you could handle the size( )then take a looksie at the galaxy 3 and see what you think of that,as it is basically the same thing just smaller.

I have seen it.

I've been to CPW recently to buy a Galaxy Ace for Son No. 1 and a Galaxy Ace 2 for Mrs Secure.

It is pretty humungous.

I'd be worried about the touch screen, the cheap copys can be horrendous.

I haven't mate, just what I read up on when I was looking at buying a tablet, brought a iPad.

My wife has the note 1, brilliant little toy.


Using it for the phone is not a problem and it fits in her handbag.

For a fella you might struggle with a pocket though.

Not with my trousers...!

I either wear Scout trousers or walking type combats. Large pockets with velcro flaps.

Just plucking up courage to buy one....usual dilemma...if it's a duffer it's £145 you could have put towards a more mainstream mobile down the Swannee.
