Cars got into the Christmas spirit - engine light on and "emergency braking assistance" warning on the display.
Used my basic OBD scanner that I have for my VW and it came up with:
I think it means I need a new accelerator pedal (as the sensors on it). I'm trying to work out how it relates to the brake assist (to be honest, we've not had the car long and I haven't read the book - it does flash up a red triangle and beeps at you when it decides you're too close to the car in front but don't think it's ever put the brakes on, but there is an active/passive setting somewhere in one of the menus?) - no fault stored for this but I'm thinking - it will apply the brakes if in thinks your accelerating towards a stationary object but it can't function if it doesn't know what the throttle is doing?
It's a 2016 Infinity Q30 (essentially a Mercedes A Class, built by Nissan with a Renault diesel engine!).
