Bloated overly bureaucratic government, health and councils are FULL of such roles. Not for one sec do I blame the individuals who fill such roles, good luck to anyone in their job/career endeavours and all that. However I seriously question why many of these roles need to exist.

I know of real life examples where a task could be completed to a satisfactory level by one employee, however said employee now needs to 'get the nod' for numerous other colleagues and/or teams before proceeding.

As for someone with a BSc, MSc and PhD, typically you go from BSc to PhD if you get a 2.1 or above and I don't know anyone who has a PhD who refers to it as a degree. It's a Doctorate.
