Hi Guys

May sound like a stupid question but when a circ. saw states its max cut depth, is it possible to reduce it to allow me to cut floorboards and not the pipes underneath? if so can anyone reccommend one?

Thanks!

yes you can reduce the depth. Pay your money and take your choice, but a decent saw blade will make all the difference

I got a similar sized 12V Makita circular saw (5093) and find it perfect for ripping up floor boards/chipboard as it has just the right max cut of 1" so no adjusting necessary.
