will this go where my existing boiler is ? as I want to use the cupboard when the cylinder was to extend the bedroom

Im also looking at putting a new rad downstairs can I t off thee existing rad or do I have to find the manifold ?

Probably.

If you have a manifold ,the pipwork to rads is probably too small a diameter to branch from.
