doing a complete rehab of my flat. plumber has installed a combi and 100 mil flue piping. we ran into some trouble with the length of the flue and rather than go to 125 mil pipe we stuck to 100 mil pipe and use a 45 degree bend rather than a 90.

but he messed up the measurement and now the flue pipe is within 300 mill of the corner of the building. it is about 250 mill from the corner and i know regs say 300 is the minimum. He says it is OK and will certify it but i wonder will I have trouble down the road is i go to get a safety certificate to rent it or need some other sort of inspection.

he and builder say don't worry and i will be certified by plumber ( whose work appears to be good ) but wonder if i should get it taken care of now rather than have to pay some moey down the road ....

Further down the line an inspection will deem it not to current standard. No requirement to change it or alter it in any way.

That said, doesnt make it right to fit it like that in the first place.

The 300mm is a standard reg check the boiler instructions some go down to 25mm for internal/external corner
