same as last pic, no earth bonding and pipe no sleaved, electric cable wrapped behind pipes and fused switch to close to the pipes :D :D :D

ps even the little red light doesnt work on the fused switch how embarrasing :D :D :D
 
Doyle, there is no requirement for pipes under a boiler to be bonded together ( although I think its good practice if the boiler has plastic parts and does not give continuity between pipes ).

Which pipe do you mean is unsheathed? The gas is and the PRV vent does not need to be.

gas pipesleave not sealed on the inside. Get the installer cut off his head and stick it on a spike outside Basingstoke Towers as a warning to us all. (Unless it's through the wall into a meter box, which I guess it must be.)
 
paul, ever tried to get Transco to seal a sleeve where their pipe enters a building?

yeah the gas pipe goes outside runs along the side of the house to the meter box

so how far away should the fused switch be?
....and the light does work its just a bit feint :D
 
yeah thats for gas what about building regs for electrical installations where no cable or joints are allowed below water systems or something or another which includes elecy cable below baths sinks and their pipes.

Quote the BS7671 reg then, probably find cables should be 25mm from pipes(water), socket outlets are advised not to be below sources of water unless the correct IP rating.
