Condensation in ceiling caused by extractor fan?

I cant see how the line of those damp spots has anything to do with the line any the duct - the duct goes the other way doesn't it?

Hi
Sorry I didn’t see this reply!
My husband has been up there, there is nothing on the other side of the stud wall, where the ducting goes, it’s bone dry.
So it’s definitely a problem with the roof over the kitchen and not the ducting at all.

We’ve since had a few more patches appear. they definitely appear in the cold dry weather rather than after rain which makes us think condensation in the void.
I been told by someone else on another site that although the marks appear when it’s cold it could actually be very very slow leaks due to the pitch. It’s 14 degrees with redland regent tiles lapped at 100mm.

Has anyone known leaks show up maybe 10+ days after it’s rained? the water I posted a photo of literally appeared overnight, nothing in the evening to a 2 foot stain the day after with no rain overnight. It was just super cold.
The ceiling sometimes dries out then gets wet again, even though we’ve had no rain.

the roofer who redid the roof in the summer still hasn’t come back to have a look so we’ve still no idea! He put in eaves vents and vents under the flashing at the top.
thanks
