Condensation in loft

Hi, we live in a 30 year old detached house and a couple of years ago had upvc facias installed to avoid having to paint the old ones. The back of the house with one installer and the front with another installer a year later. The upvc was put on top of the old woodwork as it was in decent condition. Circular soffit vents were installed, although the old wooden facias had slats for ventilation rather than holes. As far as I’m aware we never had an issue with condensation before this. Last week when I went up in the loft I noticed water droplets in the roof apex on the underside of the felt. The loft is a bit cluttered with boxes and clothes but it’s all placed in the boarded centre of the loft.

I’m planning on sorting out my en-suite and bathroom fans as they’re both a bit pathetic. I also saw some videos of cheap felt lap vents but then read cautionary tales of problems lifting tiles or ripping felt. I wonder too if I need to get the original installer/s back in to put more vents in although there are already 6 of them. I don’t think the soffit vents are blocked with insulation (the old ones weren’t) but the installers never went into the loft after the work.

Just wondering if anyone has any suggestions

Cheers
DT
