Hi,

First post, sorry if it’s in the wrong place.

I have moved into a house with a Hive that was already connected to the boiler ideal combo C30. I have successfully connected the thermostat and receiver and run though all the trouble shooting as to why it’s not working. I’m guessing it’s the wiring as the display isn’t showing what it says it should in the boilers manual (picture attached, I have highlighted the text that doesn’t show no matter what I do) and when I’ve tried to look on here for pictures of the set up, I don’t think they match mine (picture attached) I’m not sure the earth is wired anywhere. I have zero experience with wiring. I’m happy to get someone in to fix it but just wanted to know if it is the wiring before I do so. Thanks in advance

If it was fitted it probably worked, when the receiver is fitted and power on what lights up .
Show the boiler front as it may have a built in clock.
For the hive to work of the app you will need a new hub , as it will be registered to last user.

And if you download the instructions you can use the Hive as a stand alone unit ,so its not connected to the internet
