Changing the subject a bit, you were asking about mini-trunking. If you are having an exposed-brick dwarf wall, with a wooden sill on it, couldn'y you have back-boxes built into the top course of bricks? Your finished sockets would be just below the sill, no need to run mini-trunking down to them. You could probably lose some oval conduit in the mortar joint below.
