Our current system consists of TRV's on all rads controlled by a wireless Drayton thermostat programmable controller. We use it in manual mode and only use programmed times when it looks like it's going to be extremely cold over night then we might switch to programmed.

I've been looking at the Wiser system which I think will give us some benefits but my wife is not really a technophobe.

My question, so that it's simple for my wife is; does the Wiser App have an 'all on' function which would replicate the manual control we now have? This would make it easy for my wife to control. Can you also switch off 'event' control so it's in a manual mode?

I had the wiser system fitted before its a nice user friendly app. The navigation and UI menu is very clear to work your way around. You have a selection of all the installed TRV's and you can turn them on and off with the app.

You will have to click on all of the rooms to turn on the radiators. You can also set a timer to automatically fire the boiler. Overall, the app is very good and easy to use.

Wiser 1, 2 or 3 hub?
HW (stored tank or Combi)?
CH Zone valves?

It'll be ever so expensive to replace all the TRV heads with Wiser to avail the per-room temperature and schedules and then want to not use them ;)
I don't have Wiser TRVs, myself.

Each main CH Zone has (via the App or wireless room stat) a boost (+2 C on the current room temp when initiated) feature - 30, 60, 120 and 180 minutes, plus boost off.

It also has automations you can set up. Allegedly it supports voice control, too. So it may be possible to make things easy to use for a technophoebe?

Read the manuals etc.,. on the Drayton website. The App may have a demo mode you can play with?
