Do you guys have contracts for workers. If so how do you go about writing one up. Or on the other hand do you have a written contract for the company you work for.

lat eI know but even if you don't have an actual contract, you have to provide a statement of particulars which basically covers holiday, pension, notice period and all that stuff. If you make the mistake of not agreeing in advance what it is, in writing, then it might not be what you thought it was, and if necessary the Court will decide.
