Contracts for workers

Do you guys have contracts for workers. If so how do you go about writing one up. Or on the other hand do you have a written contract for the company you work for.

Are you:
Appointing a person to undertake specific works
Employing a person to work for you
Sub-contracting work to a person

etc etc

Just download a template for a contract of employment.

I presume you know you have to pay a pension, must have employers liability insurance......etc etc

lat eI know but even if you don't have an actual contract, you have to provide a statement of particulars which basically covers holiday, pension, notice period and all that stuff. If you don't, it can be deemed by the court and you can be sure the confusion won't help anyone. gov.uk is good whichever side of the fence you're on.

Everybody has a contract.

If you make the mistake of not agreeing in advance what it is, in writing, then it might not be what you thought it was, and if necessary the Court will decide.
