Need to run a cookerhood cable (the appliance's own 2-core flex) to a fused spur outlet.

The FSO is near the top of the wall about 2 foot to the right of the flue covering.

Is it OK to run the appliance cable horizontally from the top of the flue covering straight into the FSO behind the plasterboard?

The cable is secured in the FSO but not where it goes into the plasterboard (at the top of the flue). Do I need to secure it at both ends; does the plasterboard need to be removed and the cable clipped or capped?

Have found similar posts on this but not for appliance flex.

Not really.

No.

No different rules for flex.
