CORGI Guys - Need some advice....

Thought I'd pose this question as it's been giving myself and a few of my colleagues some concerns on how to deal with it.

Although an independant; I also work for a company that does a lot of domestic and commercial maintenance... The company has recently employed a domestic installer as a service engineer; he's been with us two weeks and in this two weeks...

+ He has shown that he has never used a Telegan (Flue gas analyser) before
+ Never used a Fluke (Leccy meter) before
+ Has no clue as to how a zero govenor works
+ Took 5 and a half hours to service an Ideal Concord
+ Failed to spot a flue collar not connected - Nice 10mm gap around the flue
+ Corrupted a trend system
+ Somehow managed to work on an LPG fire when he is NG only and failed to recognise the difference

All of these issues have been flagged to the company and we have been concerned enough to even phone CORGI and find out if he is really registered which he is....

What's the best course of action? As the company seem quite happy with him as he appears to be very good with paperwork and CORGI seemed more interested in the fact that the subs had been paid rather than the standard of work

Any advice greatly appreciated.

the question is
is your company corgi registered?

if so he's working under your ticket, if not hes got his own ticket and you work for him?
either way he has to have a ticket
check..
