Corned Beef

I opened a tin of chick peas (yes, chick peas!) and the smell was very reminiscent of corned beef. Is my nose broken or do other folk notice a similarity?

FMT, To find out which is best, buy several tins.
Get your other half to take the labels off or feed them to you blind and make your own mind up about which you like best.
I used to have FB when I ate meat, but found others quite similar.

Funny, that! When I used to eat the stuff, that's how I had it - on a sesame bun.

It's around 20% protein and 13% fat.
