Do any of you have fond recollections of plastic spitfire kits, or indeed still partake in such wild extravagances?

never smuggled french bangers, you have never lived. Yes they were potent, 20 wired up in a 1:24 spit, quite something... terrible misspent youth!! Loved It.

Pah - French banguers Rook scarers with unpredictable rope fuses Left one under a prefab classroom @ school - thought it had gone out - then halfway through the first lesson after lunch - BANG . Never got caught for that one
