Truly baffling. You have to wonder what train of thought he followed to arrive at that. And then someone else got on the Brain Train to do the flooring - The poor punter should've taken note of the names on the van: 'Laurel and Hardy', and thought twice before letting 'em in.

I'd rather believe that pic is photo shopped than someone paid for that job.

In fairness the floor layer would not have been qualified to move the sockets. Landlord most probably said go round it as he wouldn't pay for an electrician.
 
I wished I could find the photo, otherwise you'd not believe it.


Local council, for which we were working, had signs made up.
Nice job too, proper decent quality, Good materials, clear lettering.
Signs with the warning:

"Encapsulated asbestos : do not drill".


Signs had pre-drilled holes in each corner, so that whoever put them up could drill-and-plug and fix them.

They were drilled, plugged, and screwed into the encapsulated asbestos.......
