Hi all,
Looking to get some advice on these two cracks.
We're about to exchange contracts on this 1980s probate house. It's been sitting empty since April last year and it's been a long and arduous process.
On our final viewing we just noticed these two cracks.
1. Above a window externally moving up (Pic 1)
2. One large crack vertically going up from the floor to the ceiling (Pic 2 & 3)
Our first worry is this could be subsidence as there's quite a lot of overgrown shrubs and one small tree in the back garden.
We got a level 2 survey done but nothing was raised on this.
Am I overthinking this or do you think its worth getting a structural engineer over to check before we exchange?
Any thoughts would be much appreciated
