Its just common sense, cremation is the better method.
By all means have a good send off, but a bit of ply is fine rather than all this fancy wood.
Think of the trees

Personally I don't give a sh*t what happens to me once I'm dead, the thought of that guy with plane getting carried in to the dambusters tune made me laugh though.

Alarm cardboard coffin more expensive than basic wooden one approx 430 quid and uses more fuel for cremation as the card board burns within seconds and doesn`t help burn the body so burners turned up or on for longer .

And the waste heat could be used to provide heating for nearby buildings too. I believe one council is using waste heat from it's crematorium to heat a swimming pool.
