It's a hyundai getz 2006, with around 155k milesYou might consider divulging the make, model, age and mileage of the vehicle
And including some pics.
I have to do this every couple of years on my van otherwise I get this horrible noise. Not very clear but it's worn CV's to me.
I have known squeals when a vehicle is turning tight against the lock stops (Pick up type vehicle) but only when it's going over a bump and the suspension is working.

I take good care of it, been my first car after I got it from my mum, when I got it has new oil, filters, tires, plugs, the lot. 0 rust too so it's doing well. I'll get the car up on Sunday see if I can see anythingThat car's done well for a budget brand. Cheap motoring. Suppose it's a Jap engine, at least Jap design which helps - and must have had a reasonable level of maintenance over the years. If the body is ok and rest of mechanics are up together, worth chucking a new cv joint or driveshaft on it. Shouldn't be massive money.

Only problem is it burns oil and bit, and sometimes when it's cold it doesn't lock all the doors via the key or inside door lock but other than that ill keep it for agesGreat, little bit of maintenance - especially clean oil, filter changes and making sure antifreeze is good - keeps cars alive. Sounds like a few years left in it. I would be hanging onto it - much better than the over complicated ssh!te that's been made in last 10 or so years.
