Sanded a white gloss radiator and then painted in Crown satin but the colour does not work so want to revert to Crown gloss white, have started to sand down but will i need to remove All the satin or just sand and prep for the gloss? TIA.
Just to add the satin was oil based as will be the gloss white.

You need to undercoat.
Satin will go over satin with good prep. That is sand and clean.
Gloss should be supplied over undercoat.
So you need to undercoat..

Heat will yellow the gloss quickly though on a radiator in a few months.

I used a gloss radiator spray can.
Prepare with paper to protect surfaces. Masking tape and tinfoil to cover valves.
Fine sandpaper and clean rad. Warm spray can in hot water and spray radiator. Only took 30 mins and job done. Looked like new.
Bit late now but maybe on your next one..
