I have put up my conservatory, got the roof on over easter, and now we have this rain. Oh well I thought, thiss will test my flashing, roofing etc.....

All seems fine there, but I have water coming through under the sill!!!!!

I have top course, DPC, bed of mortar, and then the sill. The water is coming through above the DPC but below the sill. I need a fix. What can I do?

At least the roof is ok.............

Thanks

Your cill should have a drip groove on the underside to stop water travelling underneath it. If it hasn't you could run a single bead of mastic about 20-30mm in from the edge all the way round so when water hits it it drips away.
These are examples of a drip groove nr the bottom of the page......

Thanks, I thought of that just after posting this. I went and had a look, and the bricks are 75mm deep with the sill 90mm deep. therefore there is only a 15mm overhang. Where I have pointed the sill onto the top of the bricks, I have been a little careless and some of the mortar goes into the drip groove. With 15mm the grove is only about 5mm from the wall anyway. I will have to rethink what to do as 5mm from the wall does not seem enough. This sill came with the conservatory. I thought (I didn't measure) conservatory sill's were 115mm or thereabouts. I may put some mastic in front of the drip bead so that it is a little further from the wall.

Thanks
