Damp behind kitchen units, will another plinth vent help?

Drain at end of gutter in photo .
Oh dear, not another door frame thread! ;)

I see the end of the gutter (poorly) emptying into a concrete channel...

Perhaps the OP could...
Stand back and take another photo, the whole house going all the way up to the roof and gutter, and all the way down to the ground and drains.
And the OP has mentioned that they don't think rain water should go down the drain, suggesting that the rain does (is supposed to) go somewhere else?

How would I know if it's a soakaway?

(There isn't a concrete channel, originally there was just the cast iron pipe, but no piece of plastic guttering)

Where does the water flow to that comes from the drain pipe? Better photos are needed.

You seem to know it’s was into a septic tank, how.? Are you just guessing?

Hopefully these pictures make it clearer thanks for your replies.

You have now moved that bit of gutter...

I can definitely see you getting water in along the bottom of that wall though. That opening at the very bottom doesnt help. Plus, how is the fall in the ground? Does it lean towards the house?
