My sister has a kitchen extension that is damp. From what some the local builder has said and from some of the thing I've done on the house the extension was a very poor job by one of the last owners.
The extension is single brick with a concrete floors and from what we can see neither of these were fitted with a DPM.
The quote for a knock down and rebuild which is the only way to properly sort the problem out is a bit beyond the cash flow at the moment and it will be a while before this is can be done.
Does anybody have any ideas on how to reduce the damp in the short term.
