Looking for some help from some of you far more educated people than I.
We've recently had the floor leveled because it wasn't suitable for vinyl in its previous state. Now we've had it leveled we've got a new problem where its dried perfectly in mostly all areas apart from the image attached. The damp spot runs all along the floor following the wall down to the corner of the kitchen in a perfect line. Originally there was pipework underneath this area but we removed this when we first moved in because it ruined the aesthetics of the kitchen and we decided to have the new copper rad pipework going up the wall and boxed in. Could this potentially be where the old pipework was leaking and it is saturated underneath? or is it something like rising damp?
Any remedies would be greatly appreciated.
