best call a central heating technician, anyone can call themselves a plumber
maybe try repeatedly tapping the problem radiator pin while all other radiators are turned off,no one knows how well that radiator is plumbed, every system is bespoke. Is the opposite valve fully turned on
Cheers. It’s a Valliant Ecotec pro 28. 10 years old. Should the pin push in all the way? It does in the bedroom but only moves slightly in the hall. Different make valves though.
Might have a mixture of issues. The pin that was only moving in 1mm should have a little more travel than that. I'd keep hitting it (dont pull as youll only pull the pin out and make a leak) keep chapping the pin head on with something hard like a spanner or pin hammer (or softly with a big hammer) quite fast for a minute, they usually just pop back to normal position.
Either way after that, turn the thermostats off on all the hot radiators and see if yo get much heat to the cold ones
Thank you all for your help. Tried all suggestions without any luck so called in local heating engineer who spent an hour trying all those suggestions too.
Conclusion is blocked pipes so having some pipe work replaced. Half a day’s work, apparently. Oh well, at least I learnt a few things that may come in handy in the future. Cheers.

Do you get hot water OK from the taps? If so maybe the 3-port valve in the boiler is stuck.
Edit - just noticed #15. If some of the rads get get hot it seems to rule out 3-port valve. Back to blockage.
