Hi hopefully someone here can sort out the stress I have!

Want to install the wireless pack I have just bought, but the wiring instructions are a bit confusing!

danfoss pack

tp7000rf
wp75-rf
rx2c
cylinder stat

currently running

potterton netaheat profile
wilo gold 60 pump
honeywell v4073a valve
honeywell st499a or st699b (not sure)

The main wiring is to the rx2c receiver, but i'm not sure which wires go where?

Can you help!

This is the wiring diagram for the rx2c -

Thanks Kevin

The receiver will replace the programmer and the wiring connections will be the same, more or less. You need to look at the Y plan wiring from the Honeywell site.

Incidentally I've just bought exactly the same control kit from screwfix for £155 inc. vat. What did you pay?

Chris

Found the wiring diagram for the v4073a valve in my cylinder cupboard!

It include the whole wiring for my current system, which is very similar to the one on your link (thankyou)!

it's now starting to make sense....

By the look of it I need to remove my old programmer from the honeywell junction box and leave the rest alone!

Then connect the few wires from the new rx2c into the honeywell junction box!

I have these pins on the old one:

Earth
Live
Neutral

Hot water on - pin 6
Hot water off - pin 7
Heating on - pin 3

Why is there no heating off pin?????????????

What is confusing is the new rx2c:

Earth
Live
Neutral

Com Zone 1 - NO IDEA WHAT THIS IS FOR????
Com Zone 2 - NO IDEA WHAT THIS IS FOR????

Zone 1 on - I take it this is Hot water on?
Zone 1 off - I take it this is Hot water off?
Zone 2 on - I take it this is Heating on?
Zone 2 off - Not sure what goes here, if anything?

Hopefully I am not looking totally stupid at this point!!!

I just need a tiny bit of help to clarify where these wires go....

Could I power up the units, and then check the pins with a meter?

Have you got yours sorted Chris? or was it for one of your customers?

Please help

Thanks

Kevin
