This is indeed usually true.

Whether that gets you anywhere is another matter.

You can probably ebay the individual spare parts, for more than the whole.

Probably not worth the time and effort though for most people.

Will likely have a go to strip down and look for the problem, as there is nothing to lose other than a few quid on e-bay. I will report back if any success. Thanks to all for your help.

Just looked at the video- who in their right mind would use a power screwdriver to dismantle delicate equipment.
