It was remain or leave........quite happy to trade .....no deal mentioned at the referendum In or Out was the question .....it was a resounding OUT ! at biggest poll turnout in our history.

THE UTTER DEBACLE HAS BEEN CAUSED BY UNINTELLIGENT POLITICIANS TRYING TO OVERTURN OR HAMPER THE PEOPLE'S VOTE AND DECISION.

Bloody politicians, acting like they run the place!

Can't wait til we leave, just so you stop reminding us 3 times every day that there was a referendum.

"There was no consensus on what Leave meant before the referendum, so we cannot conclude there is a consensus afterwards. There was also – unlike the Scottish independence referendum with their Scotland’s Future White paper – no agreed plan for Brexit.

So every conclusion about what Brexit actually means is hence nothing more than the individual person’s own interpretation of what sort of Brexit is best. You may argue Britain ought to leave the Single Market, or not, but you cannot conclude the answer to that from the referendum vote itself. You cannot say that the referendum meant ending freedom of movement, or that it meant to opposite. And that is all even before you begin to work out whether any of these things are mutually exclusive, or what the variety of different organisations on each side said."

Quite right, of course. But within days, we were reassured (patronised) by being promised, "... the easiest deal in history to get." Remind me how that's working out...

Funny really. We've always had deals. Princes used to marry princesses from other countries to help secure political and economic alliances.
I think the Brexiters want to go back to that model.

Boris will have to marry Prince Sébastien of Luxembourg to secure a new trade deal.

The Quitters cannot say if they want UK to be in the single market.

But Buffoon is acting as if he wants to be out. Despite the huge damage this would do to the UK.

Listening to what Farage said on Sky News this morning made perfect sense. We need to leave with no deal. Then we can begin talks, like grown ups, on trade between EU members and us. If they want to tie trade up with the rights of say, Romanian pickpocket teams or Lithuanian murderers being able to come over here freely, then we'll just have to tell the Germans thanks, but no thanks. Sell your cars elsewhere. Oh, and you Frenchie's, stick your cheese and wine where the sun don't shine. Same with fruit from Spain etc etc. See who will want to insist on free movement for the poorer member counties then.

What a brilliant idea. Stop trading with France, Germany and Spain. Yes, that'll be good for the UK economy. Finally we have a workable solution to Brexit!
