My new house has had the yard concreted over and it is sloped, which means the rain water runs to the side of the house. Over time this has let to damp in the kitchen so i need to sort it out and looking for advice.
Why have so many people done this in the first place? Raised their yard with concrete and caused damp, it seems to be really common here in Newcastle upon Tyne. It was the same at my last house.
Presumably i will need to get a pile driver, smash up all the concrete, smash up whatever is underneath too and then lay slabs. Does anyone have any advice on how to do this? How do i make sure that i don't break any underlying sewers or drainage? Will the slabs support my two ton campervan after?
Any help, pointers and advice would be really appreciated.
