4 minutes 13 seconds in, sums it up nicely.
There was a vote to stay, a vote to leave
We voted to LEAVE, end of.
There was a vote to stay, a vote to leave, & I can't quite remember the other 2 John, you keep mentioning 4 options, please remind us of the other 2.
Are you suggesting the EU is causing European businesses to fail?while the rest of the world gets on with business.
That would be the most utterly stupid thing to do.Looks like more of a leadership challenge than anything brexit related.
If waiting patiently at the negotiating table for the other side to turn up and start the 'game' is 'playing games' then I would have to agree with you.Personally I think the EU are the ones playing games (and winning apparently)
If you believe in leaving, then stick to it...i couldn’t care what we do right now. If we had another referendum i’d probably vote remain - only on the basis that we don’t have a clear policy for leave. They need to re-evaluate and start again. I’m still in favour of leaving the EU. it’s a dated, failed model that keeps europe squabbling over a slice of an ever shrinking cake while the rest of the world gets on with business.
You have identified the "why bother" argument. We voted to LEAVE, end of. Not this crap being talked about, we are being sold out, all of us, remoaners , leavers & those who couldn't be arsed to vote.
I would suggest that before Camoron (in a desperate bid to remain in power) called the referendum, many of those who appear to now want an economy wrecking hard Brexit weren't that bothered about having a vote on the issue in the first place...You have identified the "why bother" argument.
The suggested Leave model is unsatisfactory for the Leavers, it is not as 'hard' as they want. It is unsatisfactory for the Remainers because it leaves UK in a far weaker position. So why bother!
That would be the most utterly stupid thing to do.
undemocratic system.
FPTP and an unelected second chamber for starters...how is it undemocratic?
