I would expect if it is refused it might be line of sight issues as much as anything else. Clearly there are other examples locally similar to yours but they do look very open aspects.

Parking a car (>900mm) height object in l.o.s. might not please highways.

Can you get to the planning applications as these might show visibility splays which could cross your (future) property indicating a problem...
