Top comes off easily enough - just two hex head bolts (one either side of the head) then pull the head upwards. Comes off with the return springs and drive pin attached. You should easily be able to see the drive wheel inside the body. Main thing is that you must avoid oil contamination at all costs because the drive is a steel on steel friction drive - so NO Vaseline or K-Y Jelly or it really will be b*gg*red!
