I would check out repair possibilities, back in the 70's I hit a gatepost - rad fan hit radiator, detaching both sidesaddle tanks.
I thought ££££ - a mate took me to radiator repair shop in Bristol, three days later we picked up the rad - it looked like new, pressure tested etc and performed as such for the next 2 years of ownership.
So - original rad apart from some solder and a fair bit of skill- and with only two capillary pipes 'squeezed' off - I did those in a previous tiny leak occurrence.
Cost less than a Friday night out back then !
