I have just installed 3 low energy (7 watts apiece) downlights in front of a wardrobe, with another low energy fitting (9 watt) fitted above a mirror. I have wired using 1mm from the lighting circuit, using a 4 way junction box. 1 cable and 1 cable straight through, I cable to switch and 1 cable to lights. They are daisy chained, three lights and then the mirror light. The first light in the chain lights dim to start and stays dimmer and slightly yellower than the other 2 downlights.

Any one know why this is?

Any help much appreciated. I have checked it all and can find nothing wrong, have changed fitting and the bulbs.

Help!

If the lights are all wired in parallel then it's likely that one of the fittings or lamps is defective. If the fittings/lamps are not identical then some difference in colour temperature is to be expected.
