As for gradient there is a minium, but I think with you as your finishing point is quite high already, just mark where you would like to start it & I bet you have plenty of fall.

Thanks Diyisfun. So where i put the running trap is fine? Also would 32mm pipe be okay or would you recommend 40mm? When i put the hose from the dishwasher into the pipe is it okay to just place it in, it wouldnt need securing in the pipe?

40mm for w/m dishwashers kitchen sinks.
running trap can go anywhere in the pipe run.
u can't use that idea as a standpipe it will be to short thats why i said install a drain kit at the end.
