I have just removed our old dishwasher (to be replaced with a new machine) and found the plug stuck to the back - similar to this thread
I could change to a flex outlet but space is a bit tight to get at the back of the machine to connect up. What is the latest thinking on putting a socket under the sink? I can either extend from the existing socket, or possibly pull a new cable to the SFCU above the worktop. The cable could be clipped directly to the surface
I could fit a flex outlet to a trailing socket under a cabinet which would be easier. Thoughts on this appreciated. I am not keen on the idea
Socket stopping dishwasher being pushed back, advice please
Hi, Removed old integrated dishwasher today (fitted with kitchen) and found that the backing had melted onto the plug, see pics attached. The old dishwasher never sat 100% flush and now I know why, the plug socket plus plug does not leave enough space for the dishwasher to be pushed back...
