A small leak has developed from around the drive shaft on the HW side of the pump (it's been working well for 3 1/2 years).
I tried removing the impeller cover to see what might be causing the leak but after removing the 6 nuts/ bolts couldn't get it to come apart more that about a half an inch.
I replaced the bolts etc and re-installed the pump but found water now pouring from the circumference of the 'housing. I've spoken to someone at Salamander's tech dept; and was offered a new set of seals or a new pump at list minus 30% - it seems they have no repair facility.
Any advice on how to get the impeller housing cover off please?
