it is and they are, but its easliy ignored with ear defenders

Fitting an alarm system certainly is'nt a case of throwing in some wires. You need to be wary of running alarm cables near mains cables and such.

Plus if you're using PIRs there is the location of them to take into account. They can't just be placed anywhere.
