on a serious note a friend I know , Alex is near death in Hospital , went to see him at dinner , he has pneumonia ,
he is no age too 40 same as myself , lovely fella , its an aids related infection......... he has gone down to nothing ....

Its very hard what to say , when visiting but I talk about when we worked down in London , wonderful tiler , real class trades bloke ...
he was a real charator an had the site lads rolling about in fits...


so very sad .. very sad ..


so I did what I do an went straight to the pub after visiting ...

so Im trying not be morose an maudlin ..

Ah! Acker bilk he was the spitting image of my uncle Michael he was a fisherman and a fighter from penzance he was recently featured in a book called "the wreckers". I could tell you some stories about him but they seem so far fetched that you wouldn't believe me.I love them both not the music "strangers on the shore" but his waistcoat, and George Best, he'll be up there shagging the angles. sorry guys its the emotion getting the better of me sob sob! not. Ahhh! Angels... yes that is indeed what I meant .
got woke up at 1 oclock last night, navy helicopter landed outside the house to pick up someone that fell over and banged his head coming home from the pub. plonker.
Hms manchester came into the bay a few days ago' thought of all you mancunions? or whatever you call yourselves. I got a pic I'll post it later so you can look with pride

Not sure who pays for it I guess eventually we all do.The air ambulance dosnt fly at night which is why the navy did it

Working on their public image. I had an Air ambulance once, much appreciated.

When the Navy does it, you could look on it as a training exercise, too. Hard to say what it costs in extra fuel and flying hours but might be better than leaving it parked all the time.
