Djokovic

The rules are clear and should have been simple to implement. The problem here is that, prior to Djokovic boarding the flight, someone has treated him differently and only afterwards - i.e. when there was a public outcry - have they suddenly thought; 'ooh, people aren't going to be happy about this, better do something about it' Problem is, they're already in the hole by then and more digging just makes the hole bigger.

They had an Oz poly on the box last night. Lying in her teeth as few would bother seeing what Oz international arrival rules are. Dj clearly can't read. ;) neither can one state and the tennis board - they backtracked rather rapidly by saying that their ok did not mean it was.

I mean loads of tennis players have had the same problem haven't they

All we need now is them to send another dozen or so home and Andy Murray might have a chance of winning a game.

Maybe they will carry him kicking and screaming to a seat in an economy class flight to somewhere. All they need do is wear hazmat suites.

The delay in doing it may be obtaining legal advice. The current judgement seems to have been purely down to giving him 1hr rather than 3 to state his case. He's had more than that now. Their rules well they are their rules and the tennis lot backed off very quickly about their ability to say he could come. That just leaves the state concerned in it all. Pass on that.

Well he's admitted going out and meeting up in public while infected and he put 'no' on his entry form to the question 'have you been to any other countries in the last 14 days' when he had. He'd been to Spain. Blamed his manager for filling the form in incorrectly!

Just shows he went to the boris school of stupidity would have got away with it if he had kept his head down now i dont think he has a leg to stand on

He's probably lost a lot of his fan base in the process.

Anybody who's watched the 'Border Force' TV programme (or whatever it's called?) knows that the form MUST be filled out by the traveller. The first thing they ask at customs is 'did you fill out this form yourself'?

Crazy thing is the problem is him. Latest legal argument is that he is being excluded as it encourages antivaxers  not disregarding their rules. Odd that loads of others didn't. Just appears to be 2 of them.

Federal court case next and it seems back in isolation tomorrow. The tennis is said to start on monday

Do you really believe the stars and celebrities follow the same rules as the rest? You have been watching too much tv. Why do you think they fly around with an entourage?
