Do I get render removed or not?

Purchasing a 1960s bungalow and had a full building survey done.

Bungalow is rendered down to ground level, so dpc is not visible. Survey recommended reducing the ground level. Whilst obtaining quotes we scuffed away the gravel around the base and found a concrete base that goes all away around the building which prompted us to ask for a section of render to be removed (photo attached) which reveals a dpc over 150mm above ground level).

I can't tell whether any of the techniques to render over a dpc without bridging it has been used. No damp showing internally but it has been double dry lined inside.

Do we:
A) repair render and not do anything, assume all OK
B) removed render all the way around to above dpc, bell cast and repair
C) Other ... you tell me!

Thank you

Is there an actual issue, i.e. damp inside the building?

To me it sounds like the surveyor couldn't see the DPC so pasted in a standard paragraph about it. Job done, £500 please, next!

If there are no issues then there aren't any issues!

Actually the (double?) dry lining sounds suspicious. Any idea why this was done?
