I've tried researching this, but I'm struggling to understand what bits of regs are relevant to this particular case.
Our house has an open vestibule in front of the main front door (see pic of similar property). I want to put a UPVC door in the opening to make more of a porch from it. The door will be less than 50% glazed. Since we're not touching the original front door and therefore not affecting existing thermal or security properties (in fact, only improving), nor will any structural work be required, does this require FENSA/building control sign off?
