I had a plumber put up these tiles to replace ones coming off the wall. They are above the long side of a bath with a shower head (from taps) above and a sink to the right in the images.

When I noticed, after he left, that the side of the tiles in the images were not sealed I contacted him to ask if they needed silicone sealing and he said no. Only a few months later and I've got to re do the silicone along the top edge of the bath as it was clearly not done properly and has come away in a small patch. I've done it before, that isn't an issue. I kind of knew he hadn't done a good job but I just hoped I was being paranoid and now I think I probably need to do the edge in the included images as well?

Eventually the whole bathroom needs to be ripped out and new everything. Can I not just silicone it as a quick fix? I only need to stop water from getting in for 2/3 years. I might have the money to get it all sorted by then....

Given the fact that the two edges are neither flat nor parallel, and there’s not a lot of room to run a profile tool down ( if siliconing), I’d agree with Warner’s and grout it.
